  • Alphanumeric characters in the title only plus spaces.
  • Your Name MUST come first, FOLLOWED BY a space, a dash, a space, the Gallery Title.
  • Gallery Title should be a very short description of the theme of your gallery.
  • Keep the section after the dash to 5 words or less

• Your new gallery has been created and your 'Introduction' will look like this. The links you see there are important to keep. They are discussed in detail in the "policies for curators".

• Formatting the gallery:
  • The format structure of all galleries should be the same, as follows:
  • The First, then every other comment will contain a linked image.
  • The Second, then every other comment is your description of why you chose that image.
  • If you like, you can create "placeholder text", so unexpected visitors who might comment, don't mess up the flow of your gallery. The example shows some placeholder text being entered.

• Formatting the gallery:
  • After the last placeholder, add the provided thank you message.
  • It's professional, encourages sales, and offers a way to create their own gallery.

• Use the "Easy Button" to create all-framed or all-mounted artworks for your gallery art. There's a special version of the Easy Button for SoMBA Galleries that narrows the choices to these. But any Easy Button version will work.
  • make sure the checkbox near the base is checked to "add title and author".

• Copy the text in Easy Button's 'COPY THIS Code' box.

• In your SoMBA Gallery tab or window, click on the link labeled 'Edit post', to replace the placeholder with the image code.
  • If you didn't make a placeholder, then paste to a new comment and 'Save Reply'.

• If you edit your post, delete the placeholder word and paste the image code, then 'Save'.

• Once the image code is pasted and saved it will look something like this in your gallery. Your format is of course your choice, as long as it is framed or plain mounted.
  • If you select "Frame" for your gallery images, the frame color and mats do not have to be identical.
  • However ALL images in your gallery must be framed, or ALL must be plain mounted.

• Edit the comment below the image, replacing your placeholder-word with a description of what it is about the piece that made you select it for your gallery.
  • If you didn't make a placeholder for the comment, then type the description in the form, and 'Save Reply'.

• Now you have an image and a comment. Just repeat this process for all additional artworks in your gallery. It is structured this way so that all galleries will be neat and organized and attractive.
  • Your SoMBA Gallery has a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 24 artworks
  • 2 per 12 can be your own. That means out of 24 images, 4 can be your own.
